The main objective of project “Good legislation for better regulatory and business environment” is to contribute to higher-quality legislation, better regulatory and business environment for open and more responsible government to the benefit of society through civil monitoring.

Two reports are published in implementation of Stage 1, namely analysis of the applicable normative sources including the Constitution, the Law for the Normative Acts, Regulations of the National Assembly etc. The purpose is to extract the normatively established principles and values for a good legislative process:

1. Comparative analysis of the normatively established procedures for legislative initiatives of the Council of Ministers and members of parliament in Bulgarian
2. Report on the applicable principles and criteria for evaluation of the legislative process in Bulgarian
